I am excited to invest in the upcoming Green Commune in Palash.The plan put forth by Vilas Javdekar and team is commendable. Maximum utilization of natural resources for day-lighting and use of fly ash to reduce thermal cracks are some responsible steps taken to reduce the ever-rising concern of global warming. These demonstrate a systematic way forward for energy conservation in building design which is need of the hour.
The least I could do to support them in this unique venture was to become a part of the community itself. I had to overcome some initial financial hiccups to materialize, but it all seems worth an effort and providing value for money.

Most of my traditional Punekar friends raised an eyebrow when I decided to go for Palash in Wakad. But having experienced the similar phenomenon in Bangalore and Hyderabad; I was sure about the trends in growing Indian cities.
